While working on the new game, I've now added a work in progress stamina bar that currently drains while the character is flying. One option for this is to have the stamina regen while the character is falling, allowing you to hold the fly button and fall slower, this would make things a little easier. The other option is the stamina only regenerating while the character is on the ground, making things harder. Which would you prefer to see? The video below shows a comparison of the two options. The 2D collect-a-thon is still being worked on, however, I've decided to rebuild my platformer engine from the ground up. This will allow for things I didn't have before like momentum and friction. Because of this, it's taking a little longer to get to a point where I want to share some footage of the build. In the meantime though, here's a revamped preview of the hero of the game.
